H1B visa new rules : Who is going to challenge it?
I see the rules for new minimum wage meaning anyone with masters and couple of years of experience would make 208k in Bay area. I don't see any law firm or companies speaking against this? Are we going to allow this? Will people be fired?
Unfortunately it looks like Trump is getting support with this ruling / sentiment not only from fellow Americans but also from Desi community with GC / citizenship status so they can protect career interests for themselves and their offsprings. Hypocrisy personified!
Those are the worst. I hope they go after all the GCs and even converted citizens who are not earning these wages or haven't earned these for a while unless retired and revoke their stuff.

Not really. I have seen folks at MS with masters and 5+ YOE at level 3 on their LCA.
Level depends on the qualifications required for the job I think. Not on the qualifications you have
The entire amazon hq will be shut down with their 160k base cap policy.. For reference l3 wages in Seattle is around 195k.. l2 is 165k.. The new wages make no sense in Seattle

I'm sorry, is there any solid source saying this is just base salary? Countless threads but only speculation about this. It could be based on the amount you file on the tax forms. In that case, it'll be TC and a great move. If not, it's pretty questionable and really impractical and will be struck down in courts. I guess the aim is to keep high skilled high tax paying workers. The tax is on TC and not on base. This is the main source of confusion
What exactly are you challenging? Are you saying a country has no right to set wage criteria for aliens seeking to work temporarily within its borders?
