If you were let go from Netflix and were on H1B at the time, how long did it take for you to get a new job? Also, what difficulties did you face in the process. Correct me if I am wrong, you get 60 days to find a new job? Not sure if that includes visa transfer time.

Goog Employees Arrested
This guys fucks
No. Timer starts the day you are laid off. Severance has nothing to do with h1b.
But wouldn’t they revoke the H1 right after?
Ya, they have to.
I don't think they have to. Most companies don't bother revoking h1 if they are not hitting their caps for h1 hiring I think.
Is firing employees very common at Netflix?
Not common, but the absence of a pip process makes it look that way.
Take a look at the thread below Check out this post! "Netflix culture -- Machiavellian edition. AMA (Tech Lounge)" https://us.teamblind.com/s/vZX6cqLD
Don’t join on H1B, unless you are really good at managing stress.
Are you on H1B?
Yeah. Telling from experience.
I keep hearing that the tech, code quality is not as great as f/g and the timelines are not very aggressive. If that’s true, what makes it stressful ?
Total 60 days. Consult a lawyer if serious. Use some of that G $
I am still in G, just deciding whether I should interview with Netflix.
