I would say join linkedin, and enter your skills. Be precise in your work history and skills and take a look at what it matches you with.
A lot of companies take pride in hiring veterans. Also I know local workforce commissions offer free vocational consulting for veterans.
Your first step is envisioning what you want to do. The second step is outlining your skills and then brushing up your resume.
You got this!!
The only struggle I have found so far is actually securing an interview. I make sure to make sure my resume highlights the work I have done related to the position I am applying for, but I keep receiving automated rejection emails even though I meet or exceed all of the qualifications.
I will definitely keep pushing on and eventually I hope to secure an interview or two!
Keep at it!
