Project Manager (Manufacturing) - Boeing 100k salary Project Manager (General) - KPMG 115k salary Generally, I enjoy manufacturing - but KPMG is also a big brand name in accounting. KPMG is more focused on change management/consulting. Please consider I can job hop every 2 years. (this is my friends blind account)
stop giving shit about what you would enjoy more. Take a job that pays you more. With money you earn, find happiness and fulfilment outside of work.
Very true. All love and enjoy work is just BS
you shouldn’t hate job atleast . Low paying or high paying doesn’t matter
Salary is good for BA considering 40 hours per week is norm. If you go, don’t stay too long, but it’s a fun if a bit slow place.
Used to work at Boeing and I can tell you to go to KMPG in a heartbeat. I loved the people at Boeing and the product so if that’s all that matters then you’ll love it. Moving up is based entirely on YOE and it’ll take you a few years past the normal YOE to move up because they are so backlogged on promotions. Only a certain number of people in each organization per review cycle can get promoted so with a lot of high performers it gets to be an issue. Defense contractor compensation does not match up to most other companies but the products you work on are really cool. Wouldn’t be a bad idea if you wanted to work there for a few years and then move elsewhere but even then I think KMPG has better brand recognition.
Ahh this was very helpful!! Thank you so much
