Recently interviewed at LinkedIn Bangalore for Software Engineer 2.5 YOE. Sharing my experience for fellow blinders :)
Hackerrank Test: 90 mins, 4 problems. LC easy-med.
Virtual Onsite: 6 rounds
Coding 1: 1 tree based question. 1 matrix based question. Edge case handling was the key.
Coding 2: 1 hard problem. Didn't get to solve 2nd problem. Navigating different solutions was the key.
Lunch: General Discussions around LinkedIn.
Technical Discussion : Discussed one project in detail. Interviewer asked a lot of questions around optimizations/design constraints.
Software Design: 2 interviewers from the hiring team. Solved Calendar scheduling problem to send calendar invites. Complexity increased gradually around databases, scaling, Writing SQL queries.
Host Manager: Discussed about current work and manager briefed about the team. Solved a designing problem.
