It’s not a scam company per technology or product innovation, but the financials are very much a scam. Founders have gone for another round of funding right before the IPO …just to get enough liquidity to handle AMC/GME WSB thing. It has lead to over valuation. As demand is less and supply is more, Venture Capitalists getting rid of their huge chunks of hood shares … :-O
Everything’s dropping end of year bc people sell a lot for taxes. Just hold if you believe in them. FWIW I’m losing on AMD but I’m holding bc I know they’ll go back up

Pfof is used by all all other big boy brokerages too. It isnt going to be easy to pull hood down to single digits per share. Robinhood is the first to market, capturing market that was ignored all along. Most ipos do bad in the first year. Also, the entire market is down. I am vouching for robinhood! (And joining the compny soon :) )

Hood is no FB unfortunately. FB already had 100s of millions of sticky MAU (monthly active users) at IPO. Hood has neither the 100s of millions users nor are they sticky since all the other platforms are offering free trades now. They have no moat
Yep I agree. The lack of moat is very concerning. All they can really claim is a fancy UI, which can be easily replicated by competitors (just like the free trades).
