I feel like a terrible person.
My company gave me a shot when I didn't have much experience, trained me, promoted me. Been here 2 years, but on this team for 1 of those years. The only reason I want to leave is because things have gotten serious with my partner and I want to be able to afford a greater quality of life and my current base isn't the greatest.
I received offers that would definitely put me in the financial bracket that I've wanted, but I feel like I'm burning bridges and I feel guilty. It would be easier if I didn't enjoy my job or if I didn't like my team/manager, but I genuinely do. I've gotten encouragement from my mentor, coworkers, and even others who've left too that this is the right choice. But there is still a part of me that eats at me that this isn't what I should do.
Any words of advice? :/
EDIT: Thank you for the words of encouragement. I accepted my offer to LinkedIn. =)
