Quick question here for you awesome folks as I am sure I am not the only one who has faced this before. I am in a situation where my son has some large medical expenses ongoing and coming up in the next few months. I contribute the max to HSA and LPFSA. However I have finished off my HSA already since some of his meds were >2K and each MRI has been super expensive. While I do have another HSA I didn’t rollover when I moved and started that process now but will take some time and while I do know I can always expense back to myself from HSA later, can I use my LPFSA (even though it’s not dental or vision) in this case if my HSA is out of money and then transfer back to LPFSA? I do have an email to the insurance out and waiting for their reply but thought would ask this group if they have faced this scenario before. Thanks for your help in advance.
Edit: so far it shows as 3700 contributions from my HSA out of 7300 for out of pocket max.
