Considering an offer from FB PE L5 (Menlo Park). Wondering how's the WLB and how stressful the job is going to be?

Also wondering how work is actually being decided and assigned. I don't come from a FAANG background. Do teams actually do scrum and collaborate or does everyone have their own projects so they have something to write about at PSC?

Any question about FB PE is ghosted in blind community. I know you'll do the same but I'll give a try.

    - what is your current role?
    - what prep did you do for PE ? How much of LC was asked ?
    - what was interview process like ?
    - will politely ask this. PE TC ?

WLB depends on the team and org but you get some selection in that.

At first, you’ll get some directed work to get you started. After that, you need to define your own work at L5.

Some teams are collaborative but most are about individual impact.

You need to come up with your own projects. Impact will rate your performance.
