Reposting from TI Lounge since there is no activity there (as expected)
I have been working at TI Santa Clara for little over 4 years now. I am currently a Systems Engineer and have had it enough with some of the mundane and repetitive task overload this year. I am planning to look for opportunities outside of TI. I wanted your advise on what kind of roles i can target and how do i tailor my resume to get the maximum opportunities.
My experience includes multiple product definitions, customer discovery, applications support and previously Analog IC design. I have not done any actual PCB layouts, but from what i understand its not rocket science and can be learned easily. Given my background and experience, wanted to get opinion of people on what kind of roles can i target outside of TI.
I loved Analog IC design and the challenges it presented but feel demotivated seeing the efforts one has to put for low to no rewards at TI.
Given my experience of product definition, application support and analog/mixed signal IC design, what kind of roles can i target and how do i tailor my resume to get hits from FAANvG companies or from some upcoming startup.
