Offer from Google was a lowball of ~200k L4
Offer from Amazon is a frontloaded average of $385k L6
I think I may have an offer from Meta coming up, but it seems unlikely they will beat Amazon. Should I get ahead of it and tell them what Amazon offered first, or let them make the first move?
I am planning to send the offer to Google and see how well they can do, but not expecting much.
Not sure whether to negotiate anything with Amazon other than attempting to negotiate PTO, bc I’m not going back down to 2 weeks after making 4 weeks for like the past 6 years. I know their culture sucks but this particular team is a bit of a special case. They acknowledged the bad rep and said that they specifically try to insulate their team from the bad culture. I honestly really liked all of the people I talked to.
Is my plan sound? Any other advice?
Thank you so much.
