I was offered design verification role at Amazon AWS annapurna labs.

Recruiter provided me lowball numbers, I responded back with my expectations. After a day I notice Amazon withdrawn my application and on their job application website it says “no longer under consideration”.

I tried contacting recruiter but no response.

Is this normal in amazon ? 😒
Or am I doing something ?

    first of all, what is your role level? 4 or 5. for 4 190k is a fair number, I'm pretty sure you are not getting the bar raised to level 5. the level 5 band is min 240k. all above data is for software eng, for hardware, not sure if they are the same,
