It's so hard to detach myself from work even after I come back home, I keep on having discussions in my head or looking at slack msgs. Please can someone help how can I just unplug once I come back home? It is affecting my mental health.
I hate to sound like a broken record but therapy therapy therapy. Tying yourself closely to work in an unhealthy way is just another form of overcompensating for things about yourself and life that you are unhappy with.
You need to pick up other hobbies/interests/activities to occupy that space in your mind. If you go home and just sit on the couch, your mind will always go back to work because that is all that it knows.
