New college grad here. MS EE. Got an offer I’m thinking about accepting. Interview was very easy for me cos I prepared very well after a number of previous failed interviews. The interviewers were pretty impressed and seemed to have run out of questions so we spent their few minutes left chatting about irrelevant stuff. Got an offer two days after. First offer: 98k base, no sign on, 5k yearly bonus. Called the recruiter to negotiate... came back following day boom... Updated offer: 103k base, 5k sign on, 5k yearly bonus. I feel like they came back with goodies so quick with no sweat at all and I want to push for more. Is this a good idea or I should just accept and be free. PS: even the first offer was way more than my expectation so I’m cool with the updated one. What do you guys think? I don’t know the cost of living and what not in the pdx area though.

I think this is quite a decent offer for HW and for the Portland Area for a New Grad. But there is no harm in trying to negotiate more. Ask them to push every aspect by 5k, especially the RSU part.
