TC 320
Things are so f**ked up in my country that recruiters/hr will even ask for last 6 months pay slips... 🙄
Facebook recruiter asked for my comp and challenged me on my numbers. She then proceeded to tell me fb has a high bar and tends to downlevel people from google. I opted not to continue with interview process.
No one should ever force u into saying ur comp
In my country some hr even want to see your bank statement for salary amount credit.
I never tell .. non of their business. The question should be what are you looking for TC?
Shouldn’t it start with recruiter telling you what they can offer.. things will be so much simpler then 😬😬
“It’s a little premature to be talking about comp right now, but I am hoping this move would be a solid bump in both comp and responsibilities. What’s the salary range for the position?”
If by challenge, you mean deflect to the amount I’m looking for, then yes
Always, I do not tell them. It's none of their business.
"We can't go above this offer without proof that your current comp is higher"
Still not telling 😎
I think New York has a law that you are not required to disclose on how much you make to prospective employers
Calling out @ancestry here, the recruiter refused to move forward because i refused to tell her my comp even though she said that my experience is good for the opened role
My G recruiter was on the verge of covering his ears and going nah nah nah can't hear you when I wanted to him my previous comp for them to beat. Only ones who asked where of course Amazon . Right before I told them to F off
Amazon isn't supposed to, either, it's in our hiring training. Surprised a recruiter would violate this
*wanted to tell him Doing God's work by fixing typos.
