Altguy Aug 12, 2021Getting crypto rewards from Coinbase card -spending USDC and earn XML or BTC is not taxable since Coinbase treat USDC and USD as 1:1 . However it will be taxable if you cash out the crypto or convert into another coin. Blockfi crypto card offers 1.5 % BTC cash back which is not taxable until you cash out or convert into another crypto So just accumulate crypto rewards and save it for the future to avoid all the taxes

There are several services that handle this. Just enter your wallet addresses and they will give you a 1099.
