I mentioned a 300k TC as a senior software engineer to somebody and she told me she know of people who are making 500k. (maybe at FAANG or one of the high paying companies). Also, 6 years ago I was getting $85 / hour on W2 doing contracting and somebody told me nowadays it is at least $100 / hour. I could get some info on GlassDoor except I am afraid some of its data is 1 or 2 years old. How is it really nowadays?
