I've been a lot more paranoid when I'm at airports nowadays...I feel like being a consultant overall increases the chances of being exposed to the coronavirus. Have any of you noticed any changes to travel policies or anyone who has advice on how to navigate around this?
No formal change to the policy per se, but our HR and the company in general are making an effort to reduce or at least delay international travels for sure. Some of our international offices added extra layer of approval needed for business trips requiring international flights.
Our company stopped all domestic and international travel. Canceled all booked travel out until feb 24.
Travel policies haven’t changed but people are definitely curtailing going out of their way to travel in the current environment. Low risk, high impact sort of thing.
Yes.. no China travel and most don't suggest Asia. I wouldn't try to get around it...
Tbh flu is much more prevalent and contagious than coronavirus in the United states right now. Just be aware of people who might be sick around you, but other than that no need to be too concerned
Yes, no travel to China
Yes. No travel to China or even Hong Kong. Travel advisory applies to all international travel in general as well.
