Have you lost friends ?

After landing a job at big companies (like FAANG), have you lost friends because you smelled jealousy, felt insecure with them or like being judged etc ?

Story - I slogged my ass off to land a job. It was my personal decision. Once I announced this news, people who I called friends looked very differently to me in terms of exhibiting toxicity (and all that drama) . I bravely VWYF and now I'm in a better mental space. I feel it's sometimes better to let go than hold on.

But what's next in terms of social life ?
