Covid rest to travel?

I am planning to travel to Europe and the country I am visiting requires Covid test results with samples taken maximum 72 hours prior to departure. Does anyone know if the airlines require Covid test results to board the plane? I am flying either Lufthansa or KLM. Also, what is a test center in the Bay Area that will give me the quickest results? Say, 24 hours is possible?

    Some urgent care places have paid tests that you can get in 24 hours. Try passport health. There are other similar ones.
