I have a Data Product Manager at Morgan Stanley NYC equity research , with a data science degree from an Ivy League. Right now I work in a data team that creates data tradable products for the buy side. I am interested in transitioning to hedge funds in a business development role that include strategy and data, but I don’t want to be a back office data person. I have managerial expertise, understand alternative data and strong in economics - any suggestion for a type of role that would work for me ? Two sigma seem to have really cool stuff.. but haven’t found much in other funds. Thanks
