Help me to select offer
With 2.8 yrs exp in gs(first company out of college tier 1) I am getting offers from following companies. But seeing mixed reviews for Microsoft office 365 teams. After seeing layoffs at uber bit doubtful about survival of Flipkart against Amazon. Compensation (base) for the companies are: Flipkart 26 lpa Amazon 16 lpa Msft: 25 lpa Current in gs:17.5 lpa Thinking of long term atleast 3 yrs span in next ship. I don't think Amazon sde 1 is way to go as not matching my current comp. If anyone from office teams can put insight. As its my first switch i am bit confused between Microsoft and Flipkart. Ms being more stable vs good work @ fk If possible please provide reason of why particular option is better according to you
Are they started hiring again at MS Noida. Last I checked, they had stopped hiring for software engineering positions.

2.8 yoe and 25+ lpa base. That's at different level. What is your base in GS ? Better to go for MS. Work to get L62 quickly and then relocate to Redmond.
Also update other components for all three.
Base 17.5 with bonus bit comes around 22 as TC
L61 25 lpa. Is not that more a L62 base range already ? You are on higher spectrum of base salary as per title.
Is this issue .. will they stop giving yearly hike saying on higher band already because in fk its normal compensation what i have been given
Hmm it should not be but you will need to move to L62 in an year to justify this.
Why you were offered sde 1 at Amazon. Bad day? I'd suggest Flipkart. Flipkart is hiring very selectively in top iits. Good growth and challenges ahead. O365 might be a hit and miss.

I'd suggest think about the long term. MS will give you flexibility on location and teams. Flipkart e-commerce is okay right now, unless you're working for phonepe or something. TC wise you're sorted for now. Flipkart might be better hikes, so depends on your priorities.
Whivh one would you suggest between Amazon and MS in that matter (work, flexiblity in location and teams, salary and benefits)? If both are giving almost same salary if calculated on current stock price but amazon giving more in cash while MS giving more in stocks.
Microsoft > Flipkart hands down. Flipkart has a shitty engineering culture, extremely hacky. Microsoft is on a roll right now. And obviously the stronger engineering brand and a chance to relocate as well. This is a no brainer.
But isn't it like work in early stage of career matters or its just all about good clg .. good tag names that Matters in software industry.Because I m not sure i will get solid work (on scale) in ms
You're almost guaranteed to get better work at MS, with better tools and better engineering guidelines. This whole thing about startups having better work is a myth. What do you think has a tougher trajectory - capturing and maintaining multiple trillion dollar markets or trying your luck in a single market segment?
Why join Flipkart and then switch to Amazon when you can already work at Microsoft which is at the same tier work and pay wise? Switching to Google is not 'easy' btw. Flipkart has ridiculously easy interviews compared to the likes of Google. The brand name absolutely doesn't help.
Lol switching to Google has got to do with your interviews . Flipkart brand will not help you much . Also Google does not give big hikes until you have competing offers
