hi, i have 12 years of driving and delivering end to end software features/ products mostly connected to storage domain , primary title being QA/Automation Engineer . I like to suggest process efficiences and corodinating between groups to help deliver products. i want to try out Technical Program Manager Role. i would be very grateful for help with : 1) resources i can explore to prepare for potential interviews for the role. 2) any referrals with the role i dont have direct title experience in this role but nevertheless positive about learning and being successful in it. update - i have been at cisco for less than a year. Honest feedback to help you. You need to work on showing that you are not belonging to Cisco culture and unique in some way. Cisco’s impression is terrible and do not even try to show it like you are all over the places and wore all hats, that will be augmented to the stigma that people literally don’t work in Cisco and it is like jack of all and master of none. I am sure you can come up with some interview storyline to avoid above things, good luck.
