High voltage power lines near Cambrian schools

I see that most of the schools in Cambrian - Leigh High, Union Middle, Noddin Elementary, Alta Vista elementary are all very close to high voltage power lines. These are still most sought after schools. Aren't people worried about this aspect?

    There are multiple papers linking high voltage power lines and health issues.. large study periods , some over 50 years.. anything less than 500mts of a high voltage power line is dangerous

      So You agree there is a correlation, now there are more papers I didn’t bother searching right now but can do later where the impact distance from power lines i greater than 500mts

      If you grab the 200kV line directly in your hand while well grounded, the correlation to an adverse health outcome is even more evident. Fully agree. Damn electromagnetic fields.

    How close is very close? It was probably taken into account when they were built. The power of electromagnetic field decreases proportionally to the square of distance, so it may look more impacting than it is.

    Yes that was one of the reasons we passed on that neighborhood. High voltage power lines near all schools from elementary to high school

    They should be. But they only concentrate on homes being away. This was the reason I chose oster elementary.
