Howdy y’all. i got a return offer at Facebook and got the GE rating (118/220/75) 10%+ target what is the highest offer someone has seen AFTER negotiation at FB? absolute max. does sign on cap at 100k? have people gotten more stock? i cannot imagine this offer being better. i am curious just how much new grads can be overpaid by. FYI i realize this offer is insanely good and im thankful af for it. i am genuinely just wondering what the numbers are TC: -60k/year while i finish my senior year of college
That’s 🥜
Not familiar with the format (118/220/75). Is that 118 base, 220 TC, and 75 signing? Is your TC including the sign on?
220k stock/4 years
Yes, OP is including the signing bonus because they think it's amazing. What they don't realize is that even if the signing bonus is amortized over four, the total comp is 188 and take home is ~120. Super, super low. Doesn't mention refreshers or ESPP, or annual bonus; so we can assume they don't know about those and didn't negotiate for them.

> not going to negotiate Mistake number one
I am curious what other people have negotiated up to
Uh... I have two YoE (in my current IC role; plus 8 as an SWE) and bring in over 340k cash per year from my employment, after taxes. But that's irrelevant. You should *ALWAYS* negotiate.
