Hired as Software Engineer after non technical phone call

I'm graduating college this May. Actalent, a recruiting agency, recruiter reached out to me and wanted to help me find jobs. He helped me set up an interview with Leidos. I had a 30 minutes phone call with no technical questions. We only really discussed the details of the projects I've done in my internships. No other interviews or phone calls. A few days later, they decided to hire me and offered 90k but this is a year contract to hire. Isn’t this suspicious? What should I worry about for contractor jobs? What questions should I ask?

However, check the details of your contract so you’re not stuck with them.
Companies like leido and the other big government contractors only conduct one interview and the technical questions they will ask you is something you can answer verbally.

I don’t think a contract role is appropriate for a new grad. Make sure you’re going to get adequate mentorship and ramp up time. Contractors are often expected to hit the ground running. Be careful here.
Attitude and culture fit matter more at your level.
They will teach you everything else.
