Hiring Scene in the Bay Area

Hello folks. I am currently working on the East coast and my current job has a lot of Design Verification activities. I am pursuing a change in job, and I am trying hard to get a job in the Bay Area. I am targeting Design verification jobs and I have over 5 years of experience, of which over 2.5 years have been in verification In this regard, I have applied to many companies, and I have not had much success. I have tagged some of the companies here. I heard that Intel had some issues with it's 5G teams. Overall, I have not had much success with Bay area teams. Any inputs on what is going on, and whether I have to pull my socks up? Thanks in Advance

How are you applying? Try getting a direct referral or get in touch with a good recruiter.

I'm mostly applyng through LinkedIn and company websites. I also tried to get referrals in Nvidia and Qualcomm Atheros. I am currently in touch with a recruiter, and seeing how things go

I am located in Bay Area. I am planning to move to east coast, any idea if being on east coast is disadvantageous in terms of getting interview calls ?

Are you on the East coast or west coast? Your question is a little confusing
