It sounds like a lot of sev2 with heavy oncall schedule.
Great point thanks for giving opportunity to clarify. We are running at an avg of just 1 sev2 per week this year and services does not have too much of ops burden. We are focusing on building new stuff and Our tenets are strict around ops overhead.
Hi OP I have offer from amazon for sde 1 , can you take an additional interview and see if I qualify for sde 2 ? Just asking because I was downlevelled from sde2 to sde1
I am sorry to hear that, if you feel strongly, pls share your resume :), when is your joining date? irrespective - welcome to amzn.

How will be the WLB ? How many 60hours week in a month ?
I do not encourage beyond 40 hrs :)
True, that's the best practice but at ground what's the reality ?
only Seattle?
Vancouver as well, but few.
It's a trap. They want to filter out blind users.
Hold on buddy ... I didn't get that :)
What's the TC range for SDE3?
Sorry but this is not what I can share.
Can folks who didn't make it past the online assessment/phone screen apply even if it hasn't been 6 months?
What's the current mix of the team. What's the hiring bar? There was a time when anyone who could write on a whiteboard was being hired at Amazon and the result was that the team sucked at everything. For me to come in at SDE3+ I need to know what's the team's current competency. Would you be willing to share that, may be not now - perhaps at onsite?
no thank you
