Dating for Marriage is Hard
Here's my subjective ranking: 1. Deepmind, Revolut, Deliveroo, palantir 2. Monzo, Facebook, Amazon, Google, thought machine, starling 3. Justeat, uber...
Check out Samsara!
How is it for you?
omg I can't believe that's even legal! Basically developing tech for surveilling (low skill) workers. Imagine if your boss could monitor you through your webcam at your desk...
Uber doesn't have tech roles in London
Revolut has a pretty bad work culture, I've heard pretty bad stories from friends. Probably add Onfido and Transferwise to the list?
Don't think I'd put Deliveroo at number 1 spot. There's quite a bit of churn in staff at the moment as well. Many people are leaving. Edit: to be fair, it's not all bad. The new VP of Engineering is really excellent and he has already started making a big impact. Also, the work-life balance is good and the engineers are smart. The people are nice as well.
Gonna join Deliveroo tech soon but heard that churn rate is pretty high, what is the possible reason ?
There's no career progression unless you're in the correct department, bad management at the director level, and other companies in London offering higher salaries and more stock options. On the flip side, the tech is pretty decent and the other engineers are nice for the most part. It's a comfortable place to work.
What's cool about Revolut? Looks like a company with a terrible reputation
Can someone from Revolut share the company’s culture specifically in tech
1 and 2 need inverting, also Revolut is one of the most toxic companies in London
