East side people, anyone living in or close to the Finn Hill area ? Seeing Finn Hill area to buy a house but don't know much about the area. How's your experience in terms of community, commute and traffic ? Any Pros/Cons you want to bring up ? Context: I work at Redmond and my partner works in Seattle with a budget of around 800k. Can't seem to find decent houses in bellevue/Kirkland/Redmond so looking at Finn Hill/Juanita Household TC: 280K #microsoft #amazon #googlekirkland #tmobile #seattle #kirkland #bellevue
I think Kirkland is awesome.
It’s bad. Check school ratings
It's seems to be in 7-9 range. That's okayish!
Also I wonder at point does the school district vs commute equation tip in the other direction since I can't seem to find a healthy balance for commute vs schools between Amazon and Microsoft that does not cost 1 mil 😏
Don’t buy in Finn Hill. Find a small one story near Grass Lawn / Rose Hill, live for a few years then upgrade.
We live in South Juanita and love it. Finn Hill is just a bit north, growing and good in between location for Redmond and Seattle. Schools of 7-9 ratings are also improving. I'd go for it. St Edwards park is nice, and the Finn Hill area has lots of new development going on, not to mention proximity to Juanita beach, which is great for summer activities.
I actually ended up buying in Kingsgate close to Bothell. Finn Hill I feel there was just one road in and out, Juanita drive which might have become a problem for traffic.
How much did it cost?
