House in greater Seattle area
Which area should I buy a home if I am currently working at MICROSOFT HQ but could change jobs at anytime to Google, FB, Amazon, Zillow, Expedia or Salesforce (all within the greater Seattle area)
Bothell or Issquah . Or Mill Creek Sammamish
All those east bay suburban places are the same as any suburb anywhere in the country. You may as well be living in Fresno. Try Ballard, Fremont, Magnolia or Queen Anne instead. Close to all potential employers.
Yes but you get even less for the same or more money. Depends on your "amenity" priorities
True. For my money quality of life improvement outweighs square footage. YMMV though.
Yeah a house in Ballard, Magnolia etc. would be easily 1MM+. Most of the houses are at least 50 years old and may or may not be updated. Again depends on what you value most.
True. More like $1.5M for a place you’d truly want to live in.
Bothell. Live near new Bothell downtown(close to both 522 n 405).
Depending on your budget Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland in that order.
