Been looking around for housing options in SF and trying to set a realistic target. Checking craigslist, it seems that decent 1br/studios are available in the 3-3.5k range. (Tenderloin and Sunset/Richmond are out) In a different t thread somebody suggest that they start at 4-5k. I agree that SF prices are outrageous but 3-3.5k looks like a healthy budget to me. Is this correct? Background: starting at Google MTV in Feb so need to be close-ish to G bus stops.
Consult with a rental realtor. They'll find 1bedrooms within your budget and will schedule tours + drive you to all the potential houses. Makes life 100times easier for you.
Yeah that budget should be fine, above 3.2-3.4k there are places available
There are so many for 2-2.5 in nob hill
Check out ingleside and excelsior. Also park Merced.
Probably good hoods but way to far out for me. Need probably a more central location.
It's not that far. Takes me like 20-30 mins in the Bart. Also, Uber pool to the middle of mission is like 6$. You'll savw in rent and can get a better place.
