We're mostly doing mental work, so how do you get your brain pumped and productive daily?

I've heard of the following:
1. Coffee: for obvious reasons
2. Nap: refreshes brain
3. Workout: gets juices flowing
4. Intermittent Fasting: clears brain fog

Any other approaches you've tried or recommend?

Put exercise clothes/shoes out night before, so you can stumble out of bed and put it on without thinking. Head directly outside and run. You are a half mile in before you really wake up. After a few days, it becomes habit and you get addicted to that endorphin hit

I've tried pomodoro, to-do lists, decluttering my workspace, buying a new mechanical keyboard to motivate yourself. All of them contribute to my productivity

    Clean n organized
I hate when my email has unread count
I also am very task driven, if there is nothing written on my to-do list it won't get done
I also avoid sugars in the mornings, take some juice or something natural sugar around 2pm so it gives me a sugar rush like feel avoiding getting tired for my afternoon meetings
    Avoid heavy lunches

    • It is respect man. I see so many Indian guys pounding sweets, fried crap, completely neglecting protein and claiming their diet is the healthiest there is. Your post was a welcome departure.

I think it depends on individual and Indian food is delicious across the board with greater diversity than most cuisines. Hard to keep our cravings controlled but I see what you mean.
