Currently: 1)Uber, Airbnb, Google, Snap, Facebook, pinterest, Amazon, Apple, lyft, Salesforce, fitbit... Apparently they are measuring quality of technical talent
Where is the “WTF is Paysa” option?
Uber lol
Paysa company rankings is nearly a year old and outdated.
Paysa’s salary and compensation figures are way off too.
You mean they are higher than expected? Or lower?
Higher than expected. I've discussed salary with coworkers and also gotten confirmation of where I am in the range for my role, and Paysa says I should be getting 250 instead of 180 as an Amazon L5 systems engineer. Definitely inaccurate.
Paysa here. We have hundreds of offers coming into our system every day. Data is real. You may be underpaid to your peers which is why you're suprised about the data. Quality tech talent is competitive and expensive.
CompanyRank is an indicator of the density of talent in companies. To get an idea of how this works, you can lookup the rank history of Yahoo! and Zynga. I am happy to answer any questions on how this is computed. We use an algorithm very similar to Google's PageRank algorithm. You can look at CompanyRank as the hiring bar at that company.
Yeah, that claim is bs. Page rank as it currently is isn't a publicly known algorithm so your claim that is similar is unverifiable not to mention legally problematic
Some insights indicated you guys lost the data source due to Linkedin blocking the queries. That’s probably why the ranking stopped getting updated.
where’s msft in all this
40 something if I remember correctly
Not pretty accurate from personal experience. I think the prices they suggest are quite conservative. You can easily get 30-80% more, never lower.
Those numbers are insane. Software engineers at large tech companies like IBM or Dell or HPE make nowhere near that! Maybe 150-200 for senior level at 200-250 for principal..at best.
Also what would you change if anything.
