1. youtube guy (white) who denied entry to a black visitor at his apartment. Caught on tape, white guy later apologized for discriminatory behavior. Does he work at YT still? 2. another youtube guy (Nepali) who went on a drug fueled rampage at a 4th of July party. What’s the latest on him? 3. Chinese guy (Chinese) fired from Facebook for protesting. Supposedly was on H1B, so he would have had 60 days to find a new job. But way more than 60 days elapsed between his FB termination and his Google start date. How’d he pull that off?
Funny you remember the first two. Happened in my first two months at YT last year.
3。 So easy, all Indians and Chinese knows this. Just pay those Indian/Chinese consulting company some money to put them under their payroll. So they will be considered as employed and not worrying about the 60 days rule.
Is this common?
I have heard more of this than came across anyone who actually did it. I lost my job once and speaking from personal experience,..as long aa new employer filed petition within 60days, you’re fine.
