Morally and ethically it is wrong to cut the communication with outer world. I heard people can't even see doctors and there is shortage of food and medicine.
Ask them what they want. Do a honest referendum.
Too many criminal elements there - curfew keeps them out
Bit curfew puts non criminal people life in danger
Actually it keeps them safe (in general)
Are you sure? What about asking them if they are safe or not?
Do you see incidents of stone throwing ? Of terrorists ? No, and still you consider them not safe ?
Please visit and ask. Spend some money instead of just dry concern
First and foremost, kashmir has always been an Indian territory and it will always be that way. So, whatever happens in Kashmir is Indias own internal matter and Kashmir and India are not two separate entities. Just because Muslim population has increased over the years doesn’t mean that it will be a part of Pakistan or a separate thing per se. Now to answer your question. Kashmir wants India to build their roads, schools, dams, etc. They want it to become India’s no. 1 tourist attraction. Having said that, Kashmir wants all of this from India while being anti-India. Hence the curfew.
I am just saying to ask Kashmiri people what they want. That is all. Same as happened between Holland and England or Brexit.
Quite frankly, when Trump became the President, a large sect of people from California proposed the idea of California being a different country. Now we both know that’s so stupid of those people and not at all right and that’s not going to happen taking the whole country into consideration.
Currently I can also see what they want me want me to see. So we could be sure until we allow international media to go and report
Why waiting you can go yourself what stops you?
Indian politicians seem to have this long term agenda of having a proper hindu nation. If Israel can have it, why not us? I think the kashmir move and putting the nationality of almost 2mil people at risk (eastern India) are all to further this agenda.
Does any act of Israil make that act correct? We need to always be honest and see what is wrong and what is right.
"I know. I don't care. Deal with it." seems to be their attitude. Hey Israel has gotten away with much bigger things before. So India can get away with this too. Who cares about unrest/protest and international outcry? It's only gonna last for so long before kashmir is annexed
The western concept of human rights does not work in India (or Pakistan or Africa or many other places) because the civilizations there have very different cultures and hold very different values. Although the western concept is ideal, in particular, it should not be followed when dealing with especially restive regions like Kashmir that's been a hotbed of terrorism for a while. It's certainly not moral but it's practical. If the problems with Kashmir were economic, that's a different story but the problems are because of religion and culture.
Sorry human rights are human rights.
Terrorist scum are not human. So not applicable.
It’s like, I want my apartment to be a part of United Kingdom even though my apartment is in US.
