How do I attract FANG recruiters while living in the Midwest?

What can I do? I've no network at these companies or any SF company.

I usually get FANG calls from recruiters searching LinkedIn for specific experience and skills. Maybe you could reverse that and find/contact recruiter from company you want to join

Step 1 - Specialize. Step 2 - target your resume to area of specialization. Step 3 -Train and certify on that area. That's your "vacation". Step 4 - reject offers for interviews on anything not in your area. Step 5 - build a roster of top job hunt sites. Step 6 - update your profiles to these sites on a MONTHLY basis. Step 7 - repeat.

Broadcast on your LinkedIn profile that you're looking for software engineering roles in the SF Bay Area. Turn on the button which says open for new opportunities.
