Serious question:
Why does anyone go to Google in 2019? Do they offer the best TC for any individual? It seems like they get absolutely blown out of the water.

  Because it's a country club, the best country club there is. You can find yourself in teams / roles where you either don't do anything or don't need to work more than 3-5 hours a day. FB pays more, but your HOURLY wage will be much lower.

Ask for a round of system design if your interview didn't have that. If you had one then you are out of luck.

Did u already interview at G? Its pretty hard but usually they interview im for a range i.e. L3/4, L4/5, etc. fyi - i doubt they’ll pay as much as fb and linkedin staff even at L5.
