Really sorry to hear that :( I was at a low point in my life a couple of years back too. I suggest you try mindfulness meditation on headspace and try to focus only on the present. Follow a ketogenic diet and work out a bit everyday. Spend the rest of your time to leetcode. All the best. Dm me for any referral help. I am more than willing to help out.
I was in that position for nearly 3 years. The trick is to get another job. Youβll recover around a year after that.
Kind of struggling with this as well. In the past I used to just get hammered or take a few sleeping pills to knock me out. However I canβt really do that any more and itβs tough :/.
Lots you canβt control. Focus on the things you can. Work out every day (good for the emotions). Meditate daily. Eat right. Brush your teeth twice a day. Every single thing you do to improve your life in small ways will help you to regain your edge.
Change your routine such as making a meal plan for yourself or a regular exercise regimen. Or join a social sport or art class. Practice 15 minute meditation, or listen to meditation music for 15 minutes a day. Do you sit a lot? I find inactivity makes me depressed. Also sometimes cold weather makes me depressed so it could be the weather. My friend uses a sun lamp during the winter. If none of those things work, make an appointment with a psychiatrist.
Hang in there. Try to get a good sleep. Get exercise. Read "Learned Optimism" by Seligman. I have been there and I know how hard it can be. Good luck!
Physical exercise is the simplest and fastest way to feel better - can be walk, run, swim..whatever suits you.
