Note: When on laptop (updated)
Scenario:
when I am browsing the internet, sometimes, I find a youtube video funny or an important article or some news or some shit. Currently, I share the link with my spouse like this:
copy the link address in the chrome address bar, open whatsappweb and search for my spouse's contact and paste it into there. Then, I have to remind her, hey here is the link.
and then the link gets lost in the whatsapp chats
Such a long process.
Why can't we have a SHARE TO FRIEND feature in chrome where we can directly share a link with a person? with just one click?
@Googlers, please forward this info to the Chrome team.
Thanks.

If the link is important they'd save it themselves (or you'd send through some lower-volume channel, such as email). The point of casual chat apps is that you can send unimportant back and forth without it getting cluttered, which means that old stuff gets swept out of the way when new stuff is sent.
but makes sense
how about on mac?
