I just received my offer and got a specific APB goal. Lets say $3000. I also heard that you get a specific multiplier. Is the multiplier the 100-115% calculated I see from previous payouts? Or is the multiplier determined at your annual review with your manager. Thank you in advance! #intel

The multiplier is corporate wide, not person specific. And it isn't targeted at 3 any more. A few years ago they tripled everyone's bonus target $ and made the expected payout 100%.

They also made changes recently that allows it to vary more. It used to be that it was always very close to target payout. Now it can be much less in a bad year and also much more in a good year. This year's payout should be at least 133%.

Depends on grade level. Gr6 and below, it's fixed at 1% of base. Then you have the multiplier, which ranges from say 2.5-3.5, but typically right around 3. So if it's $3000, then your APB bonus is $9k. Gr7 and above, the target has a much wider range, starting at 2% and goes up.
