Hi blind,
This is just about something I’m curious about and a lot of you are wildly successful so I’d love to learn.
1) When you have a great idea, how “developed” (I know this isn’t a great way of wording it but I can’t think of anything better) does the idea need to be before one can begin to shop around for investors?
2) is there a process to searching for funding? Is this purely a networking situation, cold calling/emailing, or is there a relatively established way to get an idea/product in front of the right people.
Again, I know I’m wording this eloquently but I’m also a moron.

Another had a POC product that looked pretty advanced but the underlying code was basically duct taped together.
So how developed does it need to be? Not very. Neither of these companies were wildly successful though, both have petered out at Series A/B.
I do think you either need a good network though.
