How does this feature work on LinkedIn? I wonder if recruiters can see when it was turned on. Maybe I should toggle it off and on again to “reset” it? Don’t want to look too desperate. TC: 180
I think when the recruiters search there’s a filter to show people with different job search status. Toggling it on and off won’t help in that situation. In fact I believe most recruiters don’t filter out those who aren’t looking since I still get inmails even when my toggle is off
Having a LI Recruiter license, you get additional filters when seeking people. You start with a keyword search, then you can filter by location, degree/ school, and willingness to explore opportunities. You can select people willing to relocate to a specific location or are marked willing to relocate to that area and a recruiter could then approach the people looking / interested first.

When searching for resources, it will give the results in multiple tabs, everyone, open to new opportunities, and a third end fourth I don't remember. I think the third one is open + actively responding to recruiter messages
