      Every desk is a standing desk in Hawthorne in the main FSW/GNC area for dragon/falcon/starship for sure. People in other buildings or seating areas might not be as nice, I haven't really thought about it.

    Onsite doctor and dentist, free froyo. Discounted food and several food trucks. Will rememburse 50 for gym. Decent mental health coverage (you'll need it). No 401k match. Free entry to LACMA. If you need to go to Texas they can fly you in a private jet

    Honestly standard benefits are worse than any other place I worked.

    Some unusual benefits are the unique mission patches and employee only swag. Used to be better though. I have a hoodie that flew to space. Can give tours of the factory to friends if you want (non covid). As a software engineer it's totally fine to walk around the shop hang out and ask about the rocket manufacturing if you're nerdy like that. Lots of interesting opportunities arise, like I rode on a fairing recovery ship during a catch attempt. I also found it fun supporting launches in mission control even though it's ops. Can meet Elon, if that's considered a benefit.

      Yeah basically there are a couple running several times a day between Hawthorne and Texas where starship is. You can hop on one pretty easily and go work there and come back. It's not for meant for personal travel, it's more like a shuttle between the offices. But a lot of people in Texas are originally from LA and they can come back for personal visits this way

    The Redmond location does not have any of the perks of the other locations FYI. Most of the time we’re an afterthought and don’t get anything cool.
