I am curious what are someone's chances of getting into Stanford/MIT with 5 years of experience in FAANG as an SDE with good references from their colleagues.

      I haven't yet thought entirely about it and haven't taken those exams. But for discussion, let's say those are good.

      Other than that I have skills of usual software experience learning path coupled with some self learnings.

      Depends on the program; if your goal is to just get a CS or similar grad degree than you’ve got a good shot; if something more business focused you’re gonna want solid extra curriculars/volunteer type work
