Been fully remote for about 5 years and it’s night and day. No random people asking me “quick” questions that take 30 minutes, no context switching, no distractions. In my personal experience, working in an office is detrimental to productivity.
This is also what I recently discovered with the WFH virus situation. It’s so nice to be able to focus on something without interruption.
Same here! Fully remote for 3 years and it’s amazing for my productivity! The flexibility is also great for my family.

Working from home actually saves me two hours a day in round trip travel. I get more done when WFH
Me too, except now I'm seeing more meetings (conference calls) being scheduled outside of the typical 9am-5pm hours. Commuting would normally have restricted these.
That's up to you to keep business hours. Time for Defensive Calender-ing
Positively when I went to WFH 6yrs ago. I’m terribly unproductive when I actually go into the office
Does PayPal have many remote positions?
I've always worked from home.
I don't have a desk at home and with two monitors at my desk at work plus my laptop screen I'm more productive at work.
Couldn't this be fixed by acquiring two monitors?
Yes, but that is money out of my pocket...
I have been working from home for 8 years. I get more done in a shorter period of time. I started the trend in my team and other colleagues followed. I have been at SAP for 22 years. The first 14 years was a lot of travel to customer(domestic and international ) and Walldorf. I just decided to start working from home and my boss didn’t complain. I have moved to a different organization and new role and it was a prerequisite for taking the job.
It’s so true. The amount of work I get done at home in 5-6 hours can’t even compare to 8 hrs in the office. I’ve been working from home nearly full time for a while now.
I am terribly unproductive in all settings. Maybe it's this app...
