How is AWS hardware development team?
Anyone here has any info about AWS hardware development team? Is it a nice team to be part of? Any ideas on compensation for design/verification positions? How is the Austin office?

I think every team must claim they work like a startup inside Amazon. I'm not saying it's not true, but it's not what people assume it is.

Not sure, this is what the recruiter said (seems super generic to me): AWS team specializing in designing semi-conductors, chips and systems that optimize the AWS customer experience. The particular team has been part of Amazon for 3 ½ years – they have multiple product lines, multiple sites and are a critical piece to the innovation of AWS. They also function as a start-up inside of Amazon, working as a small company
