I get poached by their recruiters. It sounds like Dropbox is in a deep crisis: the main product is a commodity now, a few products failed... I wonder if they really have a shot?

It’s competing against Google Docs and Office 365. “Success” is a strong word for what Paper is in it’s current state...
The reality is that whether it wants to compete with Docs/365 or not, it *will* in the minds of enterprise customers. As a random non-enterprise consumer of Dropbox, sure it can be a cool note taking app given you’re not already using Google Keep, Apple Notes, OneNote, or one of the many other options that are part of a far richer ecosystem.
Great company but until they become more than single threaded it's tough for there to be much growth
