How is Groupon as a company to join for a entry Level?
I have heard alot of negative news about groupon from the news sources, just wanted to hear the words from the current employeers working there. Groupon used to be a great company. I've worked there for four years. Left in 2018. The culture went downhill after a lot of top tech folks left because of company not doing well. That being said, I still think it should be good to join if you're just starting out. You'll probably learn some good things before you move out of there.

Pros: you will get to learn, considering your experience. Mostly you will get hands on experience with handling live production systems. I mostly found people there are helpful and its easy to find light minded people. Cons: revenue is going down year by year, blr org wasn't affected till now but still expect some amount of uncertainties. TC: can settle you around 20 for entry level.
You will get to work on something interesting if you are lucky else mostly it's KTLO work or KT sessions.

Don't join the blr office. The tasks are mostly KTLOs and there is no product development. Just bug fixes in the old system which the fired team has left over. And for God sake there is no documentation of the code as well. The enginnering standard is total piece of shit. You'll not get to write much code, which is extremely essential for people with YOE similar to yours.
