Is it a good startup to consider? How is the culture of their engineering team?
I heard they were profitable, can anyone confirm
Isn't growth more important than profitability according to Wall Street?
The are backed by ICONIQ Capital. ICOINQ is pretty conservative in investing and won't touch companies if they aren't profitable. 6 unicorn IPOs this year already.. Houzz will IPO for several Billion. Anything ICONIQ touches turns to platinum. Get in to Houzz before the next round, if any, jumps the valuations.
They seemed to have potential a few years ago but I don’t think their business model worked out the way they wanted it to. Now they seem to be a glorified e-commerce site with probably a ton of cash sitting in their bank account and a too high valuation.
